FAQ's
Getting Started
01
Do you offer a discount on my first class?
Yes — we offer an introductory rate for new clients, both a special Mat offer and a special Reformer offer.
02
I've never done Pilates — where do I start?
It is recommended that you start with a one-on-one session with one of our instructors or join one of our beginner-level group classes.
03
I have an injury — where should I start?
If you're dealing with an injury, managing a chronic condition, or recovering from surgery, we'd recommend starting with a private one-on-one session before joining a group class. You can give us a call at (228) 219-2788 or send us an email at contact@selahpilates.com
04
How early should I arrive?
Plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your first session. This gives us time to get you checked in. After your first visit, 5–10 minutes ahead is plenty. Please be mindful of the treatments and other sessions which may be happening around you.
05
What should I wear?
Fitted, comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. Please avoid leggings with zippers or buckles, and keep your hair secured with a hair tie rather than clips or pins, as it may damage the equipment.
06
What do I need to bring?
We suggest bringing grip socks, a hand towel and a water bottle.
07
What if I'm late?
If you arrive within 5 minutes of class starting, you're welcome to join. Because the warm-up is an essential part of every session arrivals more than 5 minutes late will unfortunately be marked as a no-show.
